April 1960 With a capital base of \1,000,000 former Chairman and founder, Sokichi Inoue, founded INOUE STAINLESS Co., Ltd. as a supplier of Stainless Steel materials for Hitachi’s many heavy electric machinery facilities and factories. During this time the company was able to establish long lasting and productive relationships with Hitachi, Ltd., their Materials Department, Hitachi Factories, and the entire Hitachi business establishment. Along with Hitachi was Nippon Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd. and Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. (which have since merged to create NSSC Co. Ltd.).
April 1963Became independent from the processing section, and began to sell products related to food production and household appliances.
August 1967Began to sell Press forming products
September 1969Operated with a base capital of \3,000,000
June 1971Operated with a base capital of \5,000,000
July 1975Partnered with Mitsubishi Materials Co., Ltd., and began to sell their Heat/Corrosion Resistant Alloys produced at their factory in Okegawa.
April 1977Operated with a base capital of \10,000,000
June 1980Began to sell metal materials used for Nuclear Power generation/ Nuclear Power Plants
January 1990Began to participate in what was a joint-venture between, ASAHISUNRED Co. Ltd., and Tochiban Co., Ltd. which established the Asahi Technical Center, Co. Ltd. Began to supply large quantity of small items for the NC-Network.
June 1996Partnered with Nippon Daiya Valve Co.,Ltd., and began to sell their valve products.
July 1996Partnered with Hirakawa Guidom Corporation and began to sell their Boiler products.
August 1996Changed the name of our company to the INOUE CORPORATION.
October 1996Began to sell Sumitomo Metal Industries Titanium Alloy.
October 1997Partnered with Nitche Co., Ltd., and began to sell their Chain Block products.
November 1999Obtained the Import-Export business license; Partnered with SUN CHIH Semicon Co. Ltd. and began to import and sell their Silicon Wafers.
December 1999Began to sell Mitsubishi Material Co.’s tube.
January 2003Began to sell Sumitomo Metal Industries seamless tube.
October 2003Began to sell LED bulletin boards.
February 2004Began to export to China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand.
August 2004Began to sell Sumitomo Metal Industries Aluminum Alloy.
April 2006Began to sell High Performance Alloy processing and assembling products.
March 2007Began to import and sell precision casting products from East Asia.
April 2007Began to import and sell material from Europe and the Americas.
July 2008Kansai branch office established.
March 2009Began to import and sell Super Insulation.
April 2009Taiwan branch office established.
